London has been wild so far and I haven’t had a great deal of time to update you guys! I promise I will have an England review/update for you all very soon. Nevertheless, I was dying to tell you guys about two products that have been my ride or dies since I’ve touched down on the other side of the pond.
Traveling can be really hard, but it shouldn’t be hard on your hair. Since I’ve been in England I’ve had to show special attention to my coily tresses because of how insane the weather is here. One day it’s freezing, another it’s boiling, humid, raining or all three at once. The weather is absolutely absurd. I usually like to keep my hair in protective styling, though, like the long braids I’m currently wearing, when I’m on a trip. Protective styling saves me so much time because I don’t have to do anything to my hair in the morning. Since I’m in London, I couldn’t bring my large shelf of hair products with me so I opted to just bring two VERY important ones.
Before going to sleep, I make sure to spray my braids with the Organix Coconut Water Weightless Hydration Oil. This oil is very moisturizing and smells like it came straight from a garden, which I love! Additionally, I oil my scalp every night with a mixture of oils I concocted specifically for my hair needs. It includes Amla, Sweet Almond, Coconut, Olive, Avocado and Jamaican Black Castor oils. These oils are so enriching and I guarantee that after consistent use, your hair will thrive.
Just because you’re exploring different cities, hanging with your friends or merely working this summer doesn’t mean that you have to neglect your hair. Invest 5 minutes in this routine everyday and your locks will love you!
